I’m Marcus. I’m from northern California. I was born in the mid-80s. Everything on this blog is mine. Even the things that aren’t mine are now mine because I called it.

This is from my Wikipedia article:

On a whim, dopernose signed up for amateur night at a Minneapolis strip club called the Skyway Lounge.[6] Enjoying the experience, he eventually quit his day job and took up stripping full-time.[9] dopernose also spent time working peep shows at Sex World, a Minneapolis adult novelty and DVD store.[citation needed]

While still stripping, dopernose began writing for City Pages, an alternative Twin Cities weekly newspaper.[6] He left City Pages just before it changed editorial hands. dopernose has since written for the now-defunct Jane magazine. In December 2007,[citation needed] dopernose began writing a column for the magazine Entertainment Weekly.

At the age of 24, dopernose created his blog. The blog began after Mason Novick, who would soon become dopernose’s manager, showed interest in his sharp and sarcastic voice. After getting 2k notes on a stolen Spongebob GIF post, dopernose was encouraged by Mason Novick to write his first screenplay.[5] Within months he wrote Juno, a coming-of-age story about a teenager’s unplanned pregnancy and is terribly sorry for all the pain he and his screenplay have caused.
